The aims of InterMedieval are:

1) to develop and further the chivalric ideal,

2) to enhance camaraderie among fellow medieval re-enactors from various cultures and countries,                                 

3) to exchange ideas, experience, and information,

4) and to establish an international circuit of medieval tournaments

 

 
General code of conduct at InterMedieval meetings:

1) all member societies must promote the aims of InterMedieval,

2) members must adhere to the decisions of councellors and/or host societies,

3) all differences between members must be resolved courteously, honorably, and discreetly,

4) all members should strive toward the free exchange of ideas and experiences,

5) any member should not hesitate to offer proposed guideline changes for consideration by the council.

The Council of InterMedieval:

The council is the entity responsible for the administration of InterMedieval. It is composed of
a Chief Administrator, two Counsellors, and two Advisors (one for Living History, and one for Archery).

- The Council monitors adherence to the guidelines

- The Council disseminates all necessary information throughout the member societies

- The Council is responsible for the promotion of the ideals and activities of InterMedieval
