My name is Chris Delle Fave. I live near Rochester, NY. I have been a professional photographer for more than 30 years. I work in
conventional and digital photography.
I do mostly nature photography, animal, plants ( Flora and Fauna ) and scenics but also do portrait and portfolio work for aspiring models. I have been known to do a
bit of pet and classic car photography too.
Photo restoration from a negative or old photograph is a field I am very familiar with and enjoy very much. I have restored antique photos that are in the
Smithsonian Institution and designed advertisements and logos for industrial clients. I have been a photographer since I was very young, but polished my skills
working in the state of the art darkrooms at Eastman Kodak, here in Rochester.
I also spent time working as an instructor there, working in both conventional and digital photography, starting way back with Photoshop 3.0 in 1994
In the last few years I had the honor to work on some very worthwhile and significant projects. The New York River Otter Project, The Rochester, NY Peregrine Falcon Project
and The Vietnam Memorial in Highland Park here In Rochester. On September 11, 2001, I was in New York City, right at " Ground Zero ", and photographed the disaster there.
This site also has photos of my hobby. Medieval Longsword ( Long Sword ). I am a member of a full contact tournament fighting group known as " The Order of the Lilac ".
We use real steel swords, have full contact bouts with groups from around the Globe. Our
specialty is German and some Italian Longsword techniques from the early medieval time.
